On the nose, this ROSENGARTEN GG presents itself with elegant hints of spicy yeast and subtly integrated oak. A very warm and inviting touch of exotic fruit rises from the nose. On the palate, this wine delights with its pure juiciness and a very lingering, fine minerality. The ROSENGARTEN GG is the third vintage of a Grosses Gewächs from this vineyard, and it appears to be undergoing tremendous development. As with its predecessor, we allowed malolactic fermentation to proceed and are enjoying the rounded and warm intensity of flavors, along with the lush notes of mango and juicy peach. It is already very much ready to drink at this stage; we are very much looking forward to the coming years with this wine.

Brömserburg Castle, the oldest castle in the Middle Rhine Valley, dominates the western part of Rüdesheim. The ROSENGARTEN vineyard comprises three distinct appellations – Rosengarten, Kreuzgarten, and Bienengarten – each with unique terroirs characterized by calcareous loess and quartzite deposits, which impart delicate fruit and lasting body to the wines.
