The Chardonnay "SBS" is our interpretation of a dry Chardonnay with classic barrique aging. Matured for 12 months in French oak, it combines elegant oak spice with a creamy texture and delicate fruit. A portion of the wine underwent malolactic fermentation, which adds further softness and depth.
On the nose, the Chardonnay "SBS" reveals fine roasted aromas, vanilla, a hint of nut, and delicate notes of brioche. These are followed by warm fruit flavors of ripe pear, apricot, and a lemony freshness.
On the palate, the wine impresses with a harmonious balance between fruit, acidity, and oak influence. The creamy texture is supported by a fresh structure that lends the wine tension and length. Yellow stone fruit takes center stage, subtly framed by spicy, slightly smoky oak notes.
