On the nose, this ROSENGARTEN GG presents itself with elegant hints of spicy yeast. A very warm and inviting touch of exotic fruit rises from the nose. On the palate, this wine delights with its pure juiciness and a very persistent, fine minerality. The ROSENGARTEN GG is our fifth vintage of a Grosses Gewächs from this vineyard, and it seems to be undergoing tremendous development; as with its predecessors, we enjoy the rounded and warm intensity of flavor, the lush hints of mango and juicy peach. It is already showing excellent drinking maturity at this early stage; we are very much looking forward to the coming years with this wine.

Rose Garden

Brömserburg Castle, the oldest castle in the Middle Rhine Valley, dominates the western part of Rüdesheim. The ROSENGARTEN vineyard comprises three distinct appellations – Rosengarten, Kreuzgarten, and Bienengarten – each with unique terroirs characterized by calcareous loess and quartzite deposits, which impart delicate fruit and lasting body to the wines.
